Abstract submission

The call for Abstract is CLOSED


Authors should strictly follow the guidelines detailed below and in the abstract template. Please, read carefully all the instructions and use the style option to introduce format as bold, subscript or superscript (as in the additional instructions for template). If you have any technical problem with the abstract submission, please contact us at info.spea11@unito.it.

All the abstract will be evaluated and acceptance will be notified to the authors by March 20th, 2022. Please note that accepted abstracts will be included in the Final Program and in the Book of Abstract only if the presenting author will complete his/her registration to the conference and the payment of the relative fee within May 8th, 2022.

Guidelines for abstract:

  • Abstracts should be submitted ONLY in MS Word format, or any compatible file formats, by using the official abstract template. Pdf or image formats will cause rejection of the abstract.
  • Each participant can submit up to two abstracts as presenting author. The file should be named as “Surname_Name_x.doc”, corresponding to the Presenting Author (as in Doe_John_1.doc). The number corresponds to the number of submitted abstracts by the same presenting author. Only one abstract could be selected for oral communication
  • Two additional abstracts can be submitted as poster by the same presenting author. They will be charged with an additional fee of 50 EUR per supplementary abstract. If you want to submit more than two additional contributions contact us at info.spea11@unito.it.
  • During the submission procedure, authors will be asked to select one of the following topics (tracks):
    1. Process fundamentals, Modeling and mechanicistic studies
    2. New Materials and hybrid systems for photocatalysis and solar light utilization
    3. Environmental photochemistry and photocatalysis
    4. Green synthesis, H2 production and CO2 utilization by solar photochemistry and photocatalysis
    5. Air treatment
    6. Water treatment and disinfection
    7. Photo(catalytic) Reactors, theory and applications
    8. Standardization and commercial applications
  • The authors will also choose the preferred type of contribution from the options: Poster contribution, Oral communication, Poster contribution and flash talk (five-minute oral presentation).
  • Before the closing of the procedure, the authors can also indicate if they intend to publish their contribution in one of the special issues related to the SPEA11 conference (instructions regarding the submission of articles will be provided later).
